WHAT IS THE BALANCE CONCEPT?

The Balance Concept is the new standard of functional fitness training for women. We combine intense cardio intervals and innovative movement techniques that deliver results and renewed levels of strength, mobility and balance. We challenge women to push past plateaus and achieve personal bests in a community that is encouraging, inspirational and fun. 

TRAIN SMARTER

High intensity circuit training, anerobic strength conditioning and a diverse mix of core movements are the foundation of our fitness philosophy.  This integrated approach allows our clients to burn calories during each workout and keep burning calories...well after the workout is over. 

BE BETTER

Form and function are at the core of every workout because we believe that functional training makes life's daily activities such as walking, running, bending, lifting and even sitting that much easier.  Our training sessions integrate functional movements that multi-task to restore flexibility, mobility and foundational strength.

LIVE BALANCE

Life's everyday responsibilities and endless to-do lists often leave us with little time for ourselves. Take the time back to improve your health, renew your spirit and have fun. Founder

OWNER & FOUNDER

Amanda

The Balance Concept was founded by Amanda Mirach, who got her start in New York City as a retail and marketing executive.  A long-time fitness enthusiast, she became a certified fitness instructor, leading classes like kickboxing, body sculpt and core strength at New York's premier gyms and boutique fitness studios including Equinox, Crunch and CLAY.  Amanda crafted fun and calorie-blasting workouts that helped her clients push past fitness plateaus to become stronger and more active in their everyday lives.

 

An Emory alumnus, she left the Big Apple to return home to Atlanta and explored other fitness disciplines - yoga, Pilates, Olympic lifting and distance running - but wasn't quite satisfied with any one program. So, she set off to create something unique and developed a program that teams strength and metabolic training with mind-body awareness to achieve the lasting results that women really want.

 

The Balance Concept is the result of that 10-year journey and is a continuous quest to offer the smartest, most effective fitness training for women.

It's no small feat, but our approach is designed exclusively for women to maximize lean muscle strength and achieve body-changing results.  We train together, we motivate each other and build each other up daily.
